DESIGN TIP: When used correctly,
mirrors can visually extend a small area. They
can be framed with climbing plants or taller shrubs to soften their harsh edges. Just make sure to use tempered glass so that is safe against the elements. You can also coat the back of a mirror with varnish to help protect it. Consider mounting it on a fence or wall to make your space seem larger, this is especially useful in shadier areas of your landscape/garden.
